Sean Renaud

Sean Renaud was born in Denver, Colorado. He holds a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor Music Education degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Music from the University of Miami.

In the USA he performed in the double bass section of the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra and as principal bassist of the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra in Miami, Florida.

In Adelaide, Sean performed as a soloist with the Unley Symphony Orchestra, presenting Serge Koussevitzky’s Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra, Op. 3.

He is a casual member of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and performs with them regularly.

Sean also performs in the Adelaide Concert Orchestra and in June 2022, he will make his conducting debut with them, conducting Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni for Elephant in the Room Productions.
